About
Maxim Leykin has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering. He started his career as a C++ developer and later specialized in Java and Android development. Over the years, he contributed to 15 mobile products and held roles ranging from software engineer and team lead to project manager.
Since 2015, Maxim has focused on engineering and delivery management. His experience covers mobile and cross-platform solutions built for the IoT, automotive, and fintech sectors. He has worked with clients across North America and Western Europe, and spent almost a year onsite in the United States.
As CTO at Bamboo Agile, Maxim defines the company’s technology strategy and supports teams with architecture, project discovery, and technical consulting. He also leads internal R&D initiatives and helps evaluate new business opportunities from a technical perspective. In addition to his work with clients and engineering teams, Maxim regularly speaks at industry events and TEDx talks, and lectures on Java and Android development at universities.
In addition to his extensive industry experience, Maxim holds a PhD in physics and mathematics.
